What moves the price of your cabinets
Sizes and designs vary a lot from kitchen to kitchen, which is why Nestline quotes each kitchen instead of publishing one price. These are the things that usually decide where a kitchen lands in the $3,800 to $6,700 range:
Wall length
More running feet of wall means more base and wall cabinets.
Drawers versus doors
Drawer bases have more hardware than door bases, so they usually cost more per box.
Tall pantry units
An 84 or 90 in pantry replaces a base and a wall cabinet and adds a lot of storage.
Door style
The finish you pick for the doors, from painted shaker to high gloss and wood grain. Ask Jason to price the styles you like.
Fillers
Pieces that close the gaps between the cabinets and your walls.

The cost of the whole job
For a cabinet replacement in the same layout, add installation and the countertop to the cabinet price. HomeStars lists cabinet installation in Vancouver at $1,700 to $2,400, average $2,050 (HomeStars cost data, collected in 2021). You save that amount if you install the cabinets yourself with the install guide. Countertop prices vary widely with the material, so get that quote early.
For a full renovation that moves plumbing or walls, budgets are much higher. The Vancouver kitchen renovation guide compares both routes.
Pre-made, flat-pack and custom prices compared
Flat-pack (RTA) cabinets are usually the cheapest, because you assemble every box yourself. Custom cabinets are usually the most expensive, because each box is built to measure and the shop installs them. Pre-made cabinets sit between the two: standard sizes, assembled before delivery, with design help included. At Nestline that means $3,800 to $6,700 for a typical full kitchen.
How to get an exact price
- Measure each wall where cabinets go, in inches. The measuring guide shows how.
- Take a wide photo of the kitchen, then the sink wall and the stove wall.
- Send them through the quote form or text Jason at 604 726 6140.
You get a first price range the same day. Jason then draws the layout in 3D and confirms the final price before you order.
